Inspired by a 9 week trip to Russia and many days exploring the vast art collections of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Shawn has been creating mosaic artwork since 2002.
His work is displayed in homes throughout the world. He currently splits his time between New England and his home in the Western highlands of Guatemala.
His work includes mosaics as wall installations, furniture and fine art, using such materials as: ceramic, fossils, jewelry, stones, beads, glass and other found items.
